The South Golf Course is a 18 hole Bent grass course with water in play. It was built in 1974, and designed by Ed Ault.
The weekday fees for property owners are $16 for 18 holes and $11 for 9 holes, or all day for $27. Prices may vary during peak season at each course. "GOLF DIGEST" selected this course as the second highest rated course in Arkansas in it's "1996-97 edition of Places to Play".
The North Golf Course is a beautiful 18 hole course designed by John Cooper, it was built in 1963. The beautiful South Fork River divides and borders the entire course adding scenic views to the challenging play.
Generally reserved for Cherokee Village property owners and guests only, the North Course offers beautiful surroundings and challenges that include sand and water.

SHOPPING
As you would expect from a community like this, there are several quaint shops that would satisfy most every serious shopper. There are the obvious Grocery Stores, Hardware Stores, etc. For those of you who are scared that there may not be a Wal-Mart close, you are in luck. Only 13 miles away lies a giant Wal-Mart Super center!!
Other tourist attractions such as Mammoth Springs, and Old Town Hardy are also near by.

RESTRICTIONS AND OTHER INFO:
The following Deed restrictions were provided by Cherokee Village Suburban Improvement District and City Hall.
No time limit on when to start building, but once started, it must be completed within one year.
Each subdivision has covenants and restrictions. These vary by subdivision but are all similar.
TYPICAL is as follows:
- FHA "Minimum Property Standards for Single living Units" is the guideline - Architectural committee can alter.
- Single family residential.
- Architectural Control committee to approve construction plans and specs.
- Interiors to be finished within 12 months of start.
